The benefits of new operating rooms are many. For one, installing the latest technology brings Bayfront Medical Center’s capabilities into the 21st century and beyond – making our campus a showcase for the future of medicine. All of our new rooms come standard with Stryker video integration systems which give surgeons instant access to radiology images, lab results and patient information – all at the touch of button. More specialized rooms help to support Bayfront’s specialty programs.
Bayfront Medical Center is also committed to improving communication and efficiency among our surgical teams. A nursing station located in the center of the operating suites will serve as “command central”. From this vantage point, a charge nurse will monitor the status of all cases to better manage patient flow and improve the overall patient experience.
